Refund Policy

At Mongwi Thessa, we want you to feel confident shopping with us. Because many of our pieces are limited-run, handmade, or sourced from independent designers across Africa, we have the following refund policy in place.

 

Returns & Refunds

We accept returns for eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and unused
  • Items must be returned in original condition, with tags attached
  • Proof of purchase is required

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Exchanges

If you need a different size or item, please contact us at mongwi.thessa@gmail.com before returning your order. Exchanges are subject to availability.

Final Sale Items

Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or refund. This includes:

  • Sale or discounted items
  • Custom or made-to-order pieces
  • Items purchased during clearance or promotional events (unless defective)

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return packages.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos so we can resolve the issue promptly.
